Moccasin Footprint Society is an Indigenous-led charitable organization established to:

1. Make visible the footprints, or contributions, of Indigenous peoples to modern day society via community-based, grassroots education and actions.
2. Increase the understanding of Indigenous sovereignty and human rights, based on the values, principles and framework of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
3. Support, inspire and advocate for Indigenous peoples in their own work, including ecosystem protection, traditional culture, knowledge and governance systems.
4. Create opportunities to build relationships and community.
