Moccasin Footprint Society is an Indigenous-led charitable organization established to:
- Make visible the footprints, or contributions, of Indigenous peoples to modern day society via community-based, grassroots education and actions.
- Increase the understanding of Indigenous sovereignty and human rights, based on the values, principles and framework of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
- Support, inspire and advocate for Indigenous peoples in their own work, including ecosystem protection, traditional culture, knowledge and governance systems.
- Create opportunities to build relationships and community.
