Sicangu CDC is an organization serving the Sicangu (see-CHAHN-ghoo) Lakota Oyate (oh-YAH-tay). Located on the lands of the Sicangu Lakota Oyate (the Rosebud Reservation) in south central South Dakota, they are a community-based nonprofit focused on transforming systems of food sovereignty, housing, education, and healthcare so that they are community-driven and grounded in Lakota values.
