El Wayruro is an organic grocery store in Quito, Ecuador owned by farmer-leaders and entrepreneurs from Red de Guardianes de Semillas, a Swift Foundation grantee. This 6-years old store was bought in July 2019 to meet the needs of the agroecological farmers in RGS who need to sell their products and to meet the needs of Quito-based customers wanting to purchase organic, locally-sourced food products.
